About the Adventure

Dusty Road offers an authentic and immersive Zimbabwean dining experience in Chinotimba township, Victoria Falls. This unique township restaurant serves traditional Zimbabwean food, including indigenous and organic ingredients, cooked over an open fire and in cast iron pots and ovens. The vibrant setting is crafted from upcycled and recycled materials, featuring old doors, cable reels, and pots reimagined into a warm, characterful space that reflects typical Zimbabwean life, complete with vegetable patches. Guests can step beyond the main tourist areas to savor genuinely local cuisine, experience the lively township atmosphere, and interact with local vendors. Dusty Road also features an on-site curio shop and a women's artisan market, supporting community enterprise and female empowerment. Founded by Sarah Lilford in 1998, this sustainable tourism project actively contributes to the livelihoods of Chinotimba families through various community welfare programs, including food, mental well-being, and children's support. The dining experience typically lasts 2-3 hours and is available year-round for both lunch and dinner.

Both menus include welcome drinks, starters, mains, dessert and tea/coffee.
